X-Rays
 
X-rays are performed using external radiation to produce images of the body, its organs and other internal structures for diagnostic purposes. An x-ray machine provides clear visions of any part of the anatomy, including soft tissue.
Tomography

The tomography scans are X-ray images representing the body through a computer as if they were slices. It is useful for extensive study of cancers and even for virtual simulation and radiotherapy treatment planning for cancer, it is essential to use three-dimensional images that are obtained from a tomography.

Fluoroscopy

It is a study of the structures of the body moving like a movie of x-rays. It passes a continuous beam of x-rays through the body part that will be reviewed and transmits it on to a monitor in detail to see the body and its movement.

Bone densitometry

This study is performed to verify the patient's bone density. When the doctor suspects osteoporosis, the doctor requests this study. It is usually carried out with imaging studies to measure the reserves of calcium in bones to assess the risk of fracture.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound is defined as acoustic waves with frequencies above those that can be detected by the human ear, from 20 kHz to several hundred megahertz. In contrast with electromagnetic waves, these vibrations need a physical environment for them to spread. This analysis shows the state of fetal growth and morphology, as well, allowing the study of pelvic perimeters to evaluate the viability of normal childbirth.
